Dr. Louis Costello received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1987. During his residency he earned Awards for Clinical Excellence.  In 1989 he opened a private practice in Clifton Park, NY and has been practicing in the Clifton Park area for over 30 years. In 1997 after completion of additional education and hands on training, he received certification by the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. He received additional certifications by The Pedorthic Group as well as Sole Supports Custom Orthotics as a specialist in biomechanics of the foot and the implementation of “true dynamic Custom Foot Orthotics.” Hundreds of continuing education hours keep him current with the latest research and techniques in conservative musculoskeletal treatment and sports injuries.

His childhood, high school and College years were filled with participation in sports activities, which has always driven his desire to work with not only the general public, but competitive athletes. He has worked with and treated PGA professionals, NFL and Major League Baseball players, elite runners, local high school athletes as well as weekend warriors. His philosophy is an always has been, that when you understand the reason for your injury, you understand how to not only correct it, but to avoid future problems.
